Call for speakers!
TedxKids@BC is looking for some inspired, youthful speakers for the 2013 event! Specifically speaking, we would like to see authentic ideas and genuine, smart speakers with forward thinking. It is completely supported if your concept has a couple of unfinished thoughts; some of the greatest ideas in history start unfinished. Keep in mind that the quality of these speeches are always more important than the length of them. Speakers that are self-driven and are comfortable talking in front of an audience are the ideal types we want at this event. We insist that less seasoned and young speakers should apply! These opportunities do not always come around so often, and this event will provide you with the chance to inspire others. If you are thinking about applying, we want you to embrace yourself and be excited on the idea you have at hand. Perfection is not key, but the key lies behind the people who want to speak because they are passionate about their concepts. Although this is a “kids” event, people of all ages are more than welcome to apply. We are emphasizing more on speakers that have a motivational story and are happy to share it with our physical and online audiences.
I volunteered at TELUS World of Science for TedxKids@BC last year, and I particularly was impacted by the speakers. I felt their passion and knowledge on the topics they spoke on and I was honestly inspired. This was definitely one of the most enlightening experiences I have ever been to due to these insightful speakers.
Remember, it’s always worth a shot! Anyone who has the interest to apply, here are the details:
